The Board Members

Courtney Mamuscia is a dynamic professional specializing in marketing, communications, and event planning. With a passion for community engagement and a keen eye for innovative strategies, she brings a wealth of experience to her role. Driven by her desire to make a tangible impact in her community, Courtney joined the Hilltop Association, where she catalyzes positive change. Her focus revolves around leveraging her marketing and event planning expertise to energize the neighborhood through sponsored events. Whether it's organizing festivals, fundraisers, or community gatherings, Courtney is dedicated to fostering connections and creating memorable experiences that bring people together.

Michael Atkins is a rare Denver native, and likes to joke he hasn't left a 10 mile radius! After receiving a Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Denver, Michael has worked at various companies as a Data Scientist, most recently with Motorola Solutions. Beyond his professional commitments, Michael is actively engaged in his community, serving on the Paddington Station Preschool Board and their Michael Building and Grounds Committee.

When not working Michael spends most of his time with his wife Katie caring for their rambunctious 4-year old and the family’s puppy. Michael also enjoys golfing, home improvement projects, and getting a rare moment to relax on the couch

Josie has lived in Hilltop since 2008 and wanted to bring more diversity to the Hilltop Board. She is Latina and wants to represent her culture and bring different perspectives to the Board. During her free time, she likes to hang out at the sundial to see how many people she can get to say hello. If they don’t say hello, she gives them a card that says, “Today is ‘Say Hello to a Neighbor Day!’” She is currently serving on the Events Committee.

Lon is our current Treasurer of the board. He joined the board with a sincere interest in the 9th & Colorado Redevelopment Project, which united neighbors and empowered them for a common cause. Lon finds invigorating pleasure in gardening and cooking. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to Vietnam, which has captivated his interest, as witnessed by his frequent visits, with the current count at eight.
